Meet Nelieke Wismans, Clarity Sessions

Who am I?
I’m Nelieke, married to Joost and proud mother of 2 teenage sons. After a fulfilling career in recruitment and executive search - including 10 years as director and co-owner of a search firm - I took a different path in the summer of 2024, driven by a deep desire to focus on the things that truly matter to me. I want everyone to have access to health and a healthy way of moving through life. At Healing Grounds I lead the Clarity Sessions with visitors: conversations about what people long for when it comes to health in the broadest sense. Alongside my work for Healing Grounds, I work as a Career Counsellor and offer executive search services through my own practice.
What inspired you to do this work?
I’ve experienced firsthand that you can feel clearly that you want to change something in your life, yet still find it difficult to actually take action. Where do you begin? At Healing Grounds we don’t just help visitors take that important first or renewed step - we stay alongside them throughout their entire Healing Journey. Through the Clarity Sessions I can make a very tangible contribution to that.
Why did you join Healing Grounds?
When Isabel asked me to help her think through how to match health professionals with Healing Grounds visitors, I was immediately enthusiastic and inspired. What a wonderful thing - to guide people on their own personal journey towards health and wellbeing. We work with a fantastic team at Zonnestraal and it’s truly special to experience our shared vision of holistic collaboration.
What can people expect from your session?
My strength is listening to you with both my head and my heart - and hearing what you’re not saying. A Clarity Session is an in-depth conversation in which I help you look broadly and formulate a next step as concretely as possible. That might be with one of the Healing Grounds therapists, or something else entirely. What matters is that it fits you at this moment in your life and that it’s achievable. A Clarity Session is already a genuinely valuable investment in yourself. I look forward to meeting you!
