Healing Grounds

Meet Enny Hoenselaar

December 2, 2025

Who am I?

My name is Enny Hoenselaar. I’ve been happily married to Ronald since 1986. I worked 38 years in conventional healthcare, from nurse to manager. That means I know the care landscape from every angle: at the bedside, within teams and across organisational layers. Along the way I found myself longing for real human contact again - for listening, for truly seeing the person behind the complaint, and for guiding deeper processes. In 2020 I began training in Life Therapy, and since January 2023 I’ve been working in my own practice as a life coach. For the past two years I combined that with a role as coach for Future-Proof Nursing in the intensive care units of the Radboud UMC. During that time I witnessed once again how great the need is for genuine, human, holistic care. From 1 January 2026 I am fully focusing on my own practice and on helping to build Healing Grounds Milsbeek.

What inspired me to do this work?

My heart lies in bridging the gap between conventional and complementary care. The principle of connecting head, heart and gut is my compass. In my years in conventional healthcare I often saw people with persistent, unexplained complaints get stuck in the system - examined, reassured or referred back, but rarely truly heard or made aware of the importance of self-direction and positive health. The body often whispers long before it starts to shout, and taking those whispers seriously is my deepest motivation.

Why did I join Healing Grounds?

Healing Grounds is the place where my mission can continue to grow naturally. A network of care professionals fits seamlessly with my longing for a care system that sees the whole person. I long for a place where professionals collaborate from trust and integrity, where clients are seen without judgement and where there is no profit motive. The intention is pure: to heal, connect and grow.

What can people expect from me?

In my work I focus on people with unexplained persistent physical complaints. Most of the people I see have often closed their hearts and struggle to feel, open up and allow themselves to be vulnerable. People who don’t dare to feel, who push emotions away and constantly adapt at their own expense. This leads to exhaustion, restlessness and vague physical signals that won’t go away. Together we go in search of the life story - the origins of beliefs and unconscious patterns. In my work I see time and again that healing begins with recognition, awareness and loving attention.
